What a Seine dinner cruise is

A dinner cruise combines a sightseeing ride with a seated meal. Two operators run regular dinners with a fixed menu, each in several categories. The boats leave in the early evening or later at night, and you should book ahead. The sightseeing ride without a meal is a separate product and is covered on the cruise page.

Prices in 2026 depend on the operator, the service and the category. The regular dinners of the two operators below run from €90 to €245 per adult. That is not a full market range, and special evenings and other operators cost differently. Check the operator and the exact ship of a package before you book, because not every dinner leaves from the same pier.

The menu of the Bateaux Parisiens dinners is the autumn and winter menu, valid from 14 October 2026 to 6 April 2027. The late service has live music. Ask about dietary needs when you book, because a menu description is no promise that a dish is free of an allergen.

Choosing a service and a category

What changes with the time and the seat.

Early or late

The early service is shorter and ends around 19:30, which leaves the evening free. The late service lasts 2 hours 30 minutes and ends at 23:00, so you are on the water after dark. If you want the Eiffel Tower lights, read the night cruise page first.

Seats

In the Étoile early service you sit at a table inside, with a starter, a main course, a dessert and drinks. Window seats belong to the higher categories.

Dress code

Both operators ask for city or evening wear. Shorts, flip-flops and sportswear are not accepted, and the Bateaux-Mouches rules also exclude Bermuda shorts and caps.

Check-in

For the early Bateaux Parisiens service, check in at Ponton 5 or 7 by 18:00. Large pieces of luggage are not allowed on board. Bateaux-Mouches leaves from the Pont de l'Alma.

Families

At Bateaux Parisiens the Étoile is the only category with a children's rate of €40. In the other categories a child pays the adult price. At Bateaux-Mouches children aged 4 to 12 pay €45.

Price on your date

The prices here are the listed 2026 menu prices. Special evenings and holiday dates can differ, so read the booking page for your date before you pay.

Departure point

Some dinner packages leave from the Pont Alexandre III, and others from a pier opposite the Eiffel Tower. Check the pier of your booking on the day before.

Planning the evening around the meal

Allow time to reach the pier. The Eiffel Tower pier and the Pont de l'Alma pier are in the west of the city. Near the Eiffel Tower pier you find metro lines 6 and 9 and RER C, and the Eiffel Tower cruise page has the details. A late dinner ends at 23:00 or 22:45. Plan your way back in advance, because the Batobus does not run at night, as the Batobus page explains.

Bring a jacket for the deck. The average low in Paris is 9.9 °C in October and 3.8 °C in December. The best time page has the monthly values. If you stay near the piers, see where to stay.
